Dr. Samantha Collins, Founder and CEO

Dr. Samantha Collins

Dr Samantha Collins is the founder and CEO of ASPIRE, an award-winning executive coaching and leadership development company that specialises in working with senior women.

Sam has been a coach for 10 years and was named One of the Top Ten Coaches in the UK by the Independent on Sunday and the Association for Coaching. She was also named one of the Top 200 Women in the UK to Impact Business & Industry by HM The Queen. She has contributed to The Financial Times, CNN, The Times and the BBC Global Business Report. Her PhD thesis examined the future world of work for senior women in law, banking and accountancy firms and she is the author of a soon-to-be-published book, Women's Leaders on Board.

She trained at the Coach Training Institute, is a member of the International Coach Federation, and is accredited by the Hay Group for Emotional Intelligence & Leadership Styles. She holds degrees in Business from Liverpool John Moores University, a first class Masters in Training and Human Resources Management from the University of Leicester in the UK, and a PhD from London Metropolitan University.

Sam is passionate about making a difference for women across the globe and she is also the founder of a human rights charity, The Aspire Foundation, that works to support women and children survivors of war in countries such as Sudan, Iraq and The Republic of Congo.

Originally from the UK, Sam now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Robert and 2 sons, Jake and Charlie.

Rebecca Hourston, Director of Programmes

Rebecca Hourston

Rebecca (Beks) Hourston is a highly experienced programme leader and executive coach with marketing/communications expertise.

She is the programme designer and leader for all ASPIRE Women's Leadership Programmes (courses include ‘Profile and Impact’, ‘Strategic You’, ‘Time and Life Management’ and ‘Powerful Communication). In addition, Rebecca designs and facilitates corporate gender diversity programs for KPMG and BDO Stoy Hayward. She has also been instrumental in the conception and analysis of much of ASPIRE’s annual research.

Rebecca's background includes experience with L’Oreal UK as Head of Consumer Affairs, marketing management of high-profile brands including Lancôme and Maybelline New York, being a small business owner and (definitely the most challenging!) raising her two little boys. Her own childhood was spent in Kenya and she remains passionate about Africa.

Rebecca is open, inspiring and stretching, as well as warm, grounded and practical. When working with clients, her desire is to ‘make it real’, practical yet informal. Rebecca’s coaching specialities are leadership, work-life balance, maternity coaching and career transition. Her recent clients include KPMG, Bird & Bird LLP, The Walt Disney Company, Random House, Added Value and The Commission for Racial Equality.

Beks is a graduate of Cambridge University with an MA (Cantab) in French & Italian and is also a Certified Professional Co-Active™ Coach (CPCC) from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), a graduate of CTI's 10-month international Co-Active™ Leadership Programme and a Licensed Career Coach (Firework). She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Carolyn Dawson

Carolyn is a supportive and challenging Executive Coach and Programme Leader with an extensive corporate background that enables her to connect with clients and their reality.

Carolyn’s areas of specialism include inspirational leadership, emotional intelligence, developing confidence, life-balance, managing change and personal impact and effectiveness. Her clients describe her as warm, empathetic, deep, supportive yet challenging and say that she gets to the core of things to enable change that is heartfelt, sustainable and meaningful yet very business driven. She is a coach, trainer and workshop leader who has trained hundreds of leaders and managers in coaching skills. Examples of Carolyn’s recent assignments include helping design and lead Retaining Talented Women Programmes (focusing on presence, impact, networking, influence and career management) at KPMG and BDO Stoy Hayward LLP, delivering training in leadership coaching to hundreds of leaders and managers in Network Rail as a Senior Course Leader and coaching a Programme Director at BT to become a more creative and inspiring decision maker and leader. Her clients include The Open University, Neal's Yard Remedies and The Woodland Trust.

Prior to becoming a coach, Carolyn worked for over 20 years at BT as an IT manager, programme leader and internal coach. She led teams and change initiatives and developed and managed customer satisfaction and coaching programmes.

She holds a CPCC professional coaching qualification from The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), one of a select group of coach training schools in the UK that is accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF), the leading standards and accreditation body for coaches worldwide and is an ICF credentialed coach (Associate Certified Coach), a licensed career coach and has earned her accreditation in Emotional Intelligence. Carolyn is a graduate of CTI’s 10-month San Francisco-based Co-Active™ Leadership Programme.

Carolyn loves the wisdom and innocence of children and relishes family times such as playing cards or sitting together watching the fire dance around the fire pit.

Janet Jenkins, Director of Operations and Logistics

Janet Jenkins

Janet Jenkins is in charge of all aspects of ASPIRE program operations, customer service and logistics.

Janet qualified in medicine from the University of London in 1985 and worked as a pathologist before reading Law at City University and being called to the Bar at Middle Temple, UK in 1994. She then took a career break to look after her family and returned to work with ASPIRE.

She holds an MB, BS, a DipL and is a Barrister-at-law.  She is a member of the Professional Negligence Bar Association and a member of Mensa.

Dr Stacey Radin

Dr Stacey Radin

Dr. Stacey Radin's passion and career has been dedicated to developing powerful women leaders and the psychology of organisational effectiveness. She previously held the Director of Leadership position for Women's Leadership Exchange, a national multi media company specialising in leadership for women. She also consults to many companies regarding diversity, strengthening women's initiatives, launching affinity networks, and developing mentoring programs for corporate executives.

She has written articles for NAFE (the National Association for Women Executives) newsletter and WLE newsletter, and has been a speaker for their regional conference. She is the leadership expert for Guardian Leadership and LadyAdvisor.com and has sat on conference panels. Her current research in power and influence of women in our society has led to a book on this topic.

Stacey has more than 10 years experience coaching senior executives in Fortune 500 organisations. She has worked with leaders in finance, law, media, entertainment, and public sectors. Examples include working with groups at Pfizer, Bear Stearns, Cushman Wakefield, Women's Leadership Exchange, The Support Centre for Not for Profit Management, and Total Leadership (the Wharton Business School Programme). She designed programmes for women on topics such as leadership, partnering for performance, providing critical feedback, communication, negotiation, assessment of style, networking, and building social capital, power, and influence.

Stacey is strongly committed to developing powerful female leaders. She has developed a unique integrative leadership model: "The Leader's Forum" that utilises mentoring as a leadership practicum and capitalizes on the collective learning experience to build a template for effective development. Her philosophy is to create sustainable results by custom designing programmes to fit the needs of each organisation and individual. Her model includes consultation with the sponsor, assessment of the organisation, design of the programme, implementation, and analysis of results.

Stacey is a leading voice for women having spent her entire career committed to shaping girls and women's lives to help them believe that they can have an impact. Her style is highly engaging. It is relational and relevant. She does not "lecture" for long, she places a question, a statement, and engages the audience. Dr. Radin received her doctorate of psychology from Albert Einstein Medical Centre and completed her postdoctoral training at Columbia Presbyterian. She is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist, received executive coaching training from New York University, and is certified by the International Coaching Federation.

Linda Rich

Linda Rich

Linda Rich has a passion for developing women leaders and more than 25 years of experience spanning a variety of industries, including financial, technology, professional services, energy, and hospitality. Her approach is informed by her strong line management background and significant international experience.

Linda spent 15 years working in financial services up to VP level, with five years as a training and development manager for JPMorgan Chase, where she often worked with groups. She has also provided services to Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, HBOS, Fortis, Marriott International, BP, Union Carbide, and others. She has worked extensively in the non-profit sector, providing coaching, consulting and development at board, CEO and senior team levels.

Linda has spoken at professional events including the European Mentoring and Coaching Conference and the Linkage Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation Conference. She holds an MBA from New York University and is certified in a variety of feedback and development tools.

Linda’s style is engaging, practical, and results-oriented. She approaches each assignment with curiosity, seeing it as an opportunity for mutual learning, while keeping clients focused and holding them accountable for change. In Linda’s work, she helps clients articulate clear and specific goals, builds individual, team and organizational capacity, and can choose from an extensive toolkit those tactics best suited to the situation. Linda’s experience includes creating a targeted career development program for Vice Presidents in the banking industry; designing and managing an innovative upwards coaching program for a top energy company in which over 120 middle and senior manager participants realised measurable increases in individual leadership effectiveness; creating and delivering a 5-session "Leadership 101 Book Club" for 25 rising managers at a large international development organization which increased emphasis on managerial effectiveness within and across functions and enabling participants to take on greater leadership roles; coaching nonprofit executives; facilitating the restructuring and improved functioning of a board of trustees; and leading the development of a mission statement and strategic plan for a volunteer organization.

Katherine Tulpa

Katherine Tulpa

Katherine Tulpa is a board-level CEO and Executive Coach who works with individuals and teams internationally. As Chair and Founder of the Association for Coaching, she is a leading authority within her field, as well as a speaker, author, and coach mentor.

She has been a past recipient of the AC Honorary Awards for Impacting & Influencing the Coaching Profession (2004 & 2006), is the author of ‘Excellence in Coaching, the Industry Guide’ (Kogan Page 2006), is a contributing author in ‘Diversity in Coaching’ (Kogan Page, 2008), for the chapter “Coaching in Europe,” and is on the International Board for the first evidence-based coaching journal (Routledge 2007). She was recently awarded ‘Coaching/Mentoring Person of the Year’ by Coaching at Work, the industry's leading magazine.

Katherine’s speciality is influence and impact, performance, and overall wellbeing for board level and top teams. She is described as passionate, results-focused and strategic and as an inspiring leader of change.

Katherine’ commercial background included more than 20 years in Strategy and Marketing as Board-level executive, senior manager and coach/facilitator working with large international companies across the UK, US, and Europe. She currently works with a diverse client base including management consultants, bankers, lawyers, architects and CEOs/top teams.

As an Accredited Coach, Fellow of the RSA and Honorary Lifetime Fellow of the Association for Coaching, Katherine holds a business degree, Diplomas in Coaching Mastery (DCM), Performance Coaching and NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming), along with Certifications in Systemic Coaching, Cognitive-behavioural Coaching, Psychological Coaching, Transpersonal Coaching and Stress Management. She is qualified in a number of assessment tools including the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), Individual Directions Inventory (IDI), Bar-on EQi (Emotional Intelligence Inventory), LEA 360, and TKI. Her ongoing studies include philosophy, writing for a forthcoming book, ‘Diversity in Coaching’, and research into building successful cross-cultural boards. Tony Barton

Tony Barton

Tony is a highly experienced and sought after international coach and trainer. He is a front of room leader for the prestigious Coaches Training Institute; an organisation that sets a very high bar for their trainers who train coaches all over the world. He is also one of just 14 external coaches worldwide, to work for the Siemens Leadership Excellence programme training senior management in Leadership skills.

As well as being a qualified coach, one of only 74 coaches in the UK qualified by the International Coach Federation to PCC level (Professional Credentialed Coach) he is also a qualified Team Coach (Team Diagnostics) and an authorised Myers Briggs (MBTI) assessor.

Prior to becoming a coach, Tony worked for 20 years in marketing on both the client and the agency side. His proudest achievement was building The Marketing Store from a small promotional marketing agency in 1990 to a UK top 10 marcoms agency in 1996 and a worldwide agency by 1998. He left the agency in 2001 to pursue a new career in coaching. Tony also spent 3 years working as a Samaritan and credits that with being instrumental in his making the transition from marketing to coaching. He is extremely grateful for the excellent training and experience that the Samaritans gave him in appreciating the power of listening to and just ‘being with’ another human being.

Tony is an excellent facilitator of corporate groups. His 20 years corporate experience, many of them at board level, means that he speaks their language and establishes an easy rapport with all management levels. The feedback he receives is that he is someone who people can trust, someone who is grounded and creates safety for participants to experiment and go beyond their comfort zones and someone who has a great sense of humour which creates a fun learning environment.

Tony is a family man, married with 3 quite grown up children and a not at all grown up Labradoodle dog. He lives in Birmingham but don’t hold that against him.

Example of his recent assignments include acting as facilitator and coach for Vodafone’s ‘Get Connected’ programme for senior male and female leaders, team diagnostic coaching with ING Bank, co-leading the ‘Values Based Leadership’ programme for men and women at BDO Stoy Hayward and acting as coach and workshop leader for the Siemens Leadership Excellence programme. He is also an experienced trainer leading coach training programmes all over the world for the prestigious Coaches Training Institute and runs workshops including ‘Simply Inspiring’ based on the work of Sir Ken Robinson, ‘The Element’.

Lindsay Wittenberg

Lindsay Wittenberg

Lindsay Wittenberg is passionate about advancing the role and influence of women in leadership positions and making women more effective leaders. Her career began in HR with Marks & Spencer plc, and she went on to train as a careers counsellor in the higher education sector. She then spent 13 years in Luxembourg, where she set up a human rights pressure group, influencing Soviet government policy from the outside with an all-female team. On her return to the UK she created, launched and built a European business development consultancy, designing, accessing funding for, and implementing Europe-wide projects through the European institutions. An experienced leader of cross-cultural teams, she finally found her professional passion in executive coaching in 2003.

She has worked with executives and senior managers across a range of sectors, including regional government, local government, health, law, banking, financial services, accountancy, brand management, publishing, telecommunications, energy, oil and gas exploration, retail, and charities.

Lindsay has a B.A. degree in Linguistics, an Advanced Diploma (with Distinction) in Professional Coaching and Mentoring from the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring (accredited by Oxford-Brookes University), a Diploma in Performance Coaching (Business) from Newcastle College, and the Certificate in The Psychology of Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching. She is a member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) and of the Association for Coaching, and is a Certified Member of the Institute of Business Consulting. Lindsay has been awarded the EMCC’s European Individual Accreditation at Practitioner Level (one of only 15 individuals worldwide to hold this accreditation). She is an accredited user of Facet5 psychometric profiling and a MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Certified Practitioner (Step I and Step II).

Lindsay’s specialties include leadership style, communication (including cross-cultural), personal development, career management and planning, confidence and burn-out. Pamela Kingsland

Pamela Kingsland

Pamela Kingsland is a highly experienced coach and qualified business psychologist. She is also the author of articles on coaching and career guidance for leading publications, including The Times, and a former guest speaker on LBC. Her clients include BT, BDO Stoy Hayward, Laing, the CRE (as was), Macquarie Bank, the Department of Health, NHS Trusts, London Borough Councils, Ofcom, Carillion and Merck, Sharpe & Dohme.

Pamela’s speciality is transitioning to senior leadership positions - from 'Expert' role and behaviours to 'Leadership' skills including developing personal visions, maximizing the performance of self and others, delegation, communication skills and confidence-building. She is also experienced in coaching at CEO and Board level.

Her signature style is collaborative yet challenging and powerful, a source of valuable insights and lasting behavioural and attitudinal changes.

Pamela was a corporate lending banker in London for 12 years at executive level reporting to the Board, before retraining in 1996 for a second career as an Executive Coach, Business Psychologist, and small business owner. She has also been a non-Executive Director on the Board of a large Public Sector Body.

She holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, ACIB (Banking Chartership qualifications) and BPS Level A & B. She is accredited to use a wide range of psychometric instruments including OPQ, 16PF, MBTI, and EQi (Emotional Intelligence).

As a coach she holds certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Performance Coaching and Psychological Coaching, has Q-OPD Executive Coach Training and is an Association for Coaching Accredited Coach and a NLP Practitioner.

Pamela is a Founding Member of the Association for Coaching (AC), a Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), Divisions of Occupational Psychology and Coaching Psychology and a member of the Association of Business Psychologists (ABP).

Sandra Richardson

Sandra Richardson

Sandra is a highly experienced Executive coach with over 2,200 coaching hours, who also leads coach training programmes globally for The Coaches Training Institute.

Her specialities are leadership, confidence building, work/life balance, relationships and coaching people who want to burst through self imposed limits. She is warm, open and helps people feel at ease and is also insightful and solidly committed to people achieving their full potential.

Sandra is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC),a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), a Team Diagnostic and Organisational and Relationships Systems Coach and a graduate of the 10-month Co-Active Leadership Programme. She also holds a diploma in solutions focused counselling.

Before joining the ASPIRE team, Sandra worked for 12 years in Public Relations for Cable & Wireless, Mercury and ICL/Fujitsu as well as agency side for Edelman PR with a focus on media training. She also spent 3 years as an HR specialist and has been a journalist and a small business owner.

When she has time to relax, Sandra’s interests are walking by the sea, photography, travelling, friends and yoga.

Pam MacIntyre

Pam MacIntyre

Pam is a highly experienced workshop leader and executive coach who works with clients internationally. Clients describe her style as intelligent, warm, direct and humorous. They say they appreciate her ability to help them hold their shortcomings lightly and build massively on their strengths.

Her particular specialism is in helping leaders to improve their ability to vision and to think strategically, to develop a wider, more effective range of leadership styles, to increase their network, profile and influence, and to optimise their impact culturally. At the same time, she supports her clients in optimising their energy in a sustainable way, leading to a more successful work-life balance.

Inge Simons

Inge is a highly experienced executive and team coach based in Switzerland. Her work experience ranges from managing complex international projects and programs to managing culture and change processes. She has intimate knowledge of starting up as well as integrating businesses.

As a coach, Inge has a passion for creating extraordinary performance and works with executives, boards and management teams. She holds certifications from the International Coaching Federation, the Coaching Training Institute, and the Centre for Right Relationship.

Inge has some 20 years of international business experience across different industries which include consulting, financial services, entertainment, beverages, textile, executive education and advertising. Her interests lie in uncovering potential, deploying diversity, and working with cross-cultural challenges. Typical assignments include working with teams to align values, objectives and human potential, working with leaders to increase impact, and coaching and consulting individuals and teams in transition.

Inge held senior positions with international responsibility in global corporations, and worked as a member of cabinet for a secretary of state. She led the first global multi-language HR system implementation in Europe and Africa, which was used as the catalyst for business process re-engineering.

She holds a Masters in Business Administration, a degree in Clinical Psychology, and a postgraduate in Strategic Marketing. Inge's working languages include Flemish/Dutch, French, English, and German. She is qualified in a number of 360 feedback tools and other instruments including MBTI, CPI 260, FIRO, Thomas Killman Conflict Inventory.

Anisha Kaul is passionate about advancing the role and influence of women in senior leadership positions and making women more effective leaders.

She regularly travels Asia conducting seminars, training, and coaching. A firm believer in the "what got you here won't get you there" philosophy, she is a highly experienced trainer, certified executive coach and learning & development consultant. Originally from the UK but based in Singapore, Anisha has international experience working with clients from industries including finance and banking, high technology, oil and gas, government and entertainment, among others.

She has worked with numerous senior women and groups in the multinational leading investment banks in Singapore, where diversity issues are part and parcel of working in a region where there is a mixed bag of nationalities, cultures, experiences, and viewpoints. With more than a decade of experience in the field of human performance, Anisha has trained and coached senior female managers to graduate trainees to improve their performance and reach their potential at work. In her role as senior learning consultant for Capita Learning & Development, one of the UK's largest training providers, Anisha designed and delivered training focused on helping individuals increase their effectiveness and positive impact. Topics include Influencing and Persuading, Innovation and Creativity, Coaching Skills for Managers, Leading Change, and Managing Teams, among others.

Anisha holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from University College London, UK. She is an ICF-certified executive coach (ACC), and a graduate of Coach U's Advanced Coaching Programme and Results Intensive Coach Training. Anisha is a member of the International Coach Federation and the International Association of Facilitators. Her work with senior females empowers women to employ strategies to succeed and take themselves into higher leadership positions. She specialises in leading seminars, executive coaching, and management consulting and holds the distinction of being Asia's first and only Master Certified Coach awarded by the International Coach Federation. In 2001, the International Coach Federation awarded Lynda a certificate of recognition for her services to the coaching profession.

As a qualified accountant with more than 20 years of business experience, she has developed an international perspective with assignments in Australia, Britain, Japan, Thailand, and Hong Kong. She has held director and board level positions and has made Hong Kong her home since 1992.

Her banking experience comes from establishing an internal audit function for a merchant bank with mainly treasury, corporate lending, and leasing operations. Later with another bank, she worked in capital markets that issued the first Samurai bond, currency, and interest rate swaps and established a ground breaking mortgage bond trust. Lynda was also the financial controller of investment bank Potter Warburg.

In Hong Kong, she was finance director and board member of Inchcape Insurance Holdings (HK) Ltd the largest insurance intermediary in Hong Kong. She was also part of the small executive team (4) that managed the day-to-day operations of group companies, which included setting human resource policies and handling human resource issues.

Her clients include a wide range of individuals of all nationalities from the highest echelons of the banking, legal, medical, financial, and management fields. These include Merrill Lynch, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Microsoft, Marriott Hotels, and Dell. Clients describe Lynda as energetic, committed to them to get what they want from the programme, engaging, accessible, relevant, practical, and thought provoking. Pollyanna Lenkic is a highly experienced facilitator, certified coach, and researcher with a passion and dedication to advancing the careers of women.

She has worked at all levels across a range of industry sectors providing keynote talks, facilitating workshops, and providing individual and team coaching. She has designed and delivered programmes that include: The Women and Success Series, Leading through Change, Teaming, Career Planning, Personal Leadership for Professional Specialists, Communicating and Influencing Skills, Strategic Thinking, and Team Building.

In 2006, she launched research, "Women, Work & Success," identifying the need for up-to-date information about how Australian women perceive success. It was one of the first of its kind to be conducted in Australia, with responses from a statistically representative sample of women across a broad range of industries working in professional and management positions.

Pollyanna partners with organisations such as National Australia Bank, Medibank Private, IBM, Sensis, Maurice Blackburn, Royal Women's Hospital, Royal Children's Hospital, Forensic Health, Horwath, and Kraft to support them to meet their objectives and outcomes.

Pollyanna brings extensive business experience to her work. She co-founded a specialist IT Recruitment Consultancy in London in 1990. In November 2000, Pollyanna sold her 50% share holding having taken the company from a sole-employee entity to staff of 18, with an annual turnover in excess of £11m ($AUS27 million).

Pollyanna is also committed to community projects and networking groups that help women move forward both personally and professionally. She regularly volunteers as a mentor and has mentored in the Marketing Women's Mentoring Programme in Melbourne as well two mentoring projects in London: the Du Paul Trust, a UK based charity that works with people who are homeless; and Women in Banking and Finance. She has been a member of the leadership team of the ICFV (International Coach Federation Victorian Chapter) since 2006 and is the current Immediate Past Co-President of the ICF Victorian Chapter.

Pollyanna has the ability to engage the audience with warmth, humor, and personal stories that people relate to and is described by clients as "a great role model and example for women who strive to be savvy business women with heart." She trained with the Coaches Training Institute in London, an organisation accredited by the International Coach Federation.
